Import guide

Files are generated in the browser. Nothing is uploaded. Pick a city, deselect what you do not want, then download. Browse cities.

  1. 01

    CHIRP (Baofeng, Yaesu, Kenwood)

    Download the CHIRP CSV. In CHIRP: File → Open → pick the CSV. Confirm the header row is intact. Copy memories into your radio tab, then File → Save. Keep Location as the first column. Short 8-character names are already in the Tag field.

  2. 02

    Uniden Sentinel (SDS100, SDS200, BCD436HP / 536HP)

    Download Uniden Sentinel CSV. Open it in a spreadsheet. In Sentinel, create a conventional Favorites List and a department named after the city. Copy the Frequency column and paste into the first frequency cell — Sentinel fills down. Repeat for Name and Modulation. Set Service Type after paste if your version does not map the column.

  3. 03

    Whistler / GRE (TRX-1, WS1080)

    Use Generic CSV. Whistler EZ Scan accepts a spreadsheet paste: Frequency, Name, Modulation. Map CTCSS from the Tone column. Trunked P25 systems need a control-channel site — the statewide system note on each city page tells you the network name.

  4. 04

    SDR++ / SDR#

    Download SDR++ CSV. Frequency is in Hertz. Import as a memory bank. AM rows are airband; NFM covers land-mobile. For trunked P25, use Unitrunker or DSD+ with the DSD+ conventional map for analog/digital conventional only.

  5. 05

    DSD+ / dsd-neo

    Download DSD+ conventional. This is a channel map (channel, frequency_hz, name), not a trunking site file. Use it for conventional P25, analog, and to seed a scan list. Trunked systems still need a control-channel list from the local system.

  6. 06

    Encrypted and trunked traffic

    A channel marked Enc will not decode. AES-256 public-safety encryption is widespread on police talkgroups. Fire, EMS, NOAA, aircraft, railroad, marine, and ham remain the most listen-able. Trunked rows are network markers — program the system in Sentinel/Whistler as P25 trunking, not as a conventional frequency.
